God exists and His word is true. Could any book have lasted the life of the bible without divine intervention? Furthermore, would an Almighty God who created us not ensure that His word reads exactly as He wants it to read? Since it is all true, can you afford to leave your eternity to chance? And, would one not be claiming to be Gods themself if one picked & chose what parts of His words are true?

2 Timothy 3:16 (NIV)
16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

And, by the way, isn’t it amazing how God uses 3:16 again for a very key passage in His word!!!

Because we all know what John 3:16 says,
16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

What does the bible say about why Jesus came? We know that He came to die on the cross but that is not all. He spent three short years in the ministry, preaching & healing….but, of these, the bible says that he predominately came to preach.

Mark 1:37-38 (NIV)
37and when they found him, they exclaimed: "Everyone is looking for you!" 38Jesus replied, "Let us go somewhere else—to the nearby villages—so I can preach there also. That is why I have come."
What did he preach? Mark 1:14-15 (NIV)
14After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. 15"The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!"
Let’s pray:
Father God, in your Holy wisdom, you devised a perfect plan to prepare us for eternity. You offered us this world and all its resources, you gave us free wills to explore and learn about life without you and life with you. What will we chose? We humble our hearts, to know your eternal will, not necessarily for a life on earth of material comforts, but the comforts of knowing you, and who you have sent, and that all things work out for the [eternal] good of those who love you, who are called according to your purpose. Amen
